Criminal penalties for indecently against or insulting a woman by violence, coercion or any other forcible means

According to the provisions of the Criminal Law, any person who acts indecently against or insults a woman by violence, coercion or any other forcible means commits the crime of indecently against or insulting a woman, and shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years or criminal detention. Any person who gathers a number of people to commit the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph or commits the crime before the public in a public place shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than five years. Any person who acts indecently against a child shall be given a heavier punishment.

The person who conducts the act of indecently against another person could be either a man or a woman.

Insulting women refers to the acts of using obscene language or behaviors.
