Weihai initiative fuels enterprise-led innovation
Weihai, Shandong province, has announced the 2025 list of "One Company, One Technology" R&D centers, highlighting the city's commitment to driving industrial growth through enterprise-led research.
Launched to strengthen research and development within individual companies, the program has become a cornerstone of Weihai's strategy to improve competitiveness and modernize key industries.
Wego Shingene Medical Technology, a leading enterprise in medical consumables, earned a spot on the list. The company has successfully developed key products like microbial culture bottles and arterial blood gas needles. These innovations have not only replaced previously imported goods but have also played a significant role in modernizing the broader medical technology industry.
