Pengquan subdistrict in Laiwu district, Jinan, East China's Shandong province, has taken various measures to forge a unique local path for rural vitalization.

The local government adheres to the "one village, one industry" development strategy and has established a comprehensive support system. It plans to implement 19 rural collective economic projects, while arranging for enterprises to support rural development through investment in road construction, creating beautiful courtyards, and other means.

Chenliangpo village, as part of the subdistrict, has achieved an annual collective income of 1.5 million yuan ($209,000) by developing rural vitalization projects such as agricultural industrial parks. Nanlonggu village has built a distinctive tourism brand, leading to an increase of over 4,000 yuan per capita in income for surrounding farmers. Chang'an village has vigorously developed its air-dried chicken industry, with the village's collective annual income reaching 500,000 yuan.

To date, 21 villages under this subdistrict have achieved an annual collective income of over 500,000 yuan.

Moreover, focusing on challenges facing grassroots governance, the subdistrict has developed a hierarchical governance system, actively listened to the demands of the people, conducted public legal education work, and made significant improvements in road construction.

Next, Pengquan subdistrict will continue to revitalize industries to increase development momentum, cultivate a solid foundation for people's livelihood services, and drive new achievements in rural vitalization. (Edited by Li Weiwei)
