By sharing vegetable cultivation experiences in village alleys and holding promotional live-streams for local high-quality agricultural products, Fangxia subdistrict in Jinan's Laiwu district has pioneered a new path toward rural vitalization.
Fangxia subdistrict boasts 17 specialized vegetable villages with over 10,000 mu (666.67 hectares) of planting area, supplying 3 billion fruit and vegetable seedlings to the Chinese market annually.
Local government has organized over 60 announcers who regularly gather farmers to share mature planting experiences promptly.
Moreover, they utilize live-streams to drive sales of local agricultural products such as tomatoes, chili sauce, and beef. During each live-stream, many farmers come to watch and interact with each other.
These initiatives have significantly contributed to local rural vitalization efforts. (Edited by Li Weiwei)
