In early summer, Chengwu county in Heze, Shandong province, embraces harvest season across its 350,000 mu (23,333.33 hectares) of garlic fields. A gentle breeze carries the fresh scent of garlic leaves, painting a vibrant picture of abundance in the southwestern Shandong region.
Chengwu county boasts a garlic cultivation scale of 350,000 mu this year, making it one of China's top garlic-producing areas. In the vast fields, automated garlic harvesters shuttle back and forth, while farmers busy themselves with sorting and bagging, bursting with anticipation for the abundant harvest.
In recent years, Chengwu county has been promoting the deep integration of garlic agricultural machinery and agronomy, developing garlic harvesting equipment for different types of planting.
