Late April, when the crabapple blossoms are in full bloom and cherry blossoms dance in the air, is the perfect time to experience the beauty of spring.
On April 5, a starry night concert organized by the cultural tourism bureau of Chengwu county, Heze, Shandong province, offered up a romantic and vibrant musical feast.
As night fell, performers opened the concert with a number of famous songs amidst the enthusiastic applause of the audience.
"I'm so happy to be singing outdoors with so many people. It's wonderful. It's romantic. It makes you forget all your worries," exclaimed Zhou Xin, an enthusiastic audience while waving a glow stick in excitement.
In recent years, Chengwu county has enriched the city's cultural and artistic atmosphere through a diverse array of cultural activities. This has enhanced the cultural awareness of residents, enriched urban cultural life, and made the city warmer and more vibrant.
"With the weather getting warmer, people are spending more time outdoors. We plan to hold such events every Saturday from late spring to early summer, with singers leading the chorus so that we can attract more people and create a cultural extravaganza that is both entertaining and interactive," said Song Lingzhi, deputy director of the county's cultural tourism bureau.
