Recently, on the campus of Gaocheng Third Experimental Primary School in Chengwu county, Shandong province, there's been a wave of people learning traditional culture. The combination of Dizigui (Standards for Being a Student) and martial arts rhythmic exercises has become the new highlight of the school's recess activities.
During the morning break every day, accompanied by the melodious recitation of Dizigui, students follow the rhythm of the music, sometimes making fists, kicking their legs, or turning around. Each move is full of strength and vigor, displaying the essence of martial arts vividly and thoroughly, demonstrating the vigorous vitality and lofty aspirations of young people in the new era.
In recent years, Chengwu county has explored recess activities that are distinctive, cater to the physical and mental development characteristics of students, and have high participation rates. This set of rhythmic exercises that integrate Chinese classics and traditional martial arts not only helps students strengthen their bodies but it also subtly inherits and promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture, cultivating their national pride and cultural confidence.
