Juye powers ahead with large-scale industrial development

At the site of the Jianong Central Plains Industrial Park project in Juye county, Heze, Shandong, the roar of machinery and transport vehicles has been creating a bustling scene over the past few days.

"Once the project is completed, it is projected to achieve annual sales revenue of 11 billion yuan ($1.51 billion), with a tax revenue of 1 billion yuan, and will create jobs for over 5,000 people," said Xu Juzhuan, mayor of Longgu town in Juye.

This spring, construction on major projects is progressing rapidly across various industrial parks in Juye county, with work on 26 significant projects commencing simultaneously. The projects focus on industries such as fine chemicals, biopharmaceuticals, and the processing of agricultural and related products, with a total investment of 18 billion yuan.

In Juye county's Hetuoyuan town, a project is under construction which aims to produce 18,000 metric tons of new energy additives per year. With advanced equipment such as reactors and crystallizers at its core, the project will be able to produce 9,000 tons of high value-added products like lithium tetrafluoroborate per year, with an expected annual sales revenue of 3 billion yuan upon reaching full production capacity.

Additionally, the Heze Jianyuan Environmental Protection Materials Co Ltd's project aims to produce 100,000 tons of new environmentally-friendly plasticizer per year and boost annual revenue by 820 million yuan by recycling by-products. It is cooperating with enterprises in the park such as Huaxin Fragrance and Wankai Polymer.

"The successful advancement of the new environmentally-friendly plasticizer project has effectively connected the upstream and downstream industrial chains within the park, further enhancing the competitiveness and vitality of the park, and achieving mutual development through win-win cooperation," said Chen Ya, a member of the development and reform commission of Juye county.

Currently, 45 high-quality supporting projects in Juye county have been successfully put into operation and achieved the expected benefits. The number of industrial enterprises above a certain scale in the county has steadily increased from 196 to the current 248. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
