Recently, at an intangible cultural heritage workshop in Chengwu county, Heze city, Shandong province, local artisans are creating porcelain carvings inspired by Ne Zha 2, the recent domestically produced animated blockbuster.

These works utilize the traditional craft of porcelain carving, a representative project of national-level intangible cultural heritage, employing techniques such as outlining, carving, and coloring. The depiction of Nezha in the artwork is lively and lifelike, crafted through intricate carving techniques.

This innovative model of combining intangible cultural heritage with cultural creativity not only revitalizes the traditional art of engraved porcelain but also injects new vitality into the inheritance and promotion of intangible cultural heritage. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
