Shandong enterprise contributes to Asian Winter Games infrastructure

At the recently held 9th Asian Winter Games, the MPP cable protection pipes produced by Shandong Fangte Pipe Industry Co Ltd were designated as a key material for infrastructure construction.

This enterprise, based in Ningyang county, Shandong province, specializes in power pipe materials. The pipes used in constructing the snow event venues for the Asian Winter Games are the company's flagship product and were developed in-house. These pipes are not only able to withstand extreme low-temperature conditions but also exhibit superior impact resistance and durability, surpassing national standards.

Fangte Pipe's ability to become a supplier for the Asian Winter Games infrastructure can be attributed to its leading industry research and development capabilities. After suffering losses due to pipe breakage caused by low temperatures in 2021, the company collaborated with Jinan University to establish a research and development center, overcoming technical challenges in just seven months.

Currently, Fangte Pipe has obtained over 30 patents, many of which fill gaps in the Chinese industry. The company has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise, and ranks in the top 10 in China's cable protection pipe industry.
