Under the guidance of university faculty, the students learned the basics of calligraphy, as instructors demonstrated the art of creating fluid and graceful strokes. The session also delved into the meaning behind Spring Festival couplets, which are traditionally displayed in homes to bring good fortune and blessings for the coming year.

For many of the international students, this was their first experience with calligraphy. They carefully wrote each character, concentrating on their brushwork with every stroke. The room was filled with an energy as participants shared tips and admired each other's creations.

One particularly excited participant was Shah, a student from Pakistan. "This was extraordinary and joyful," he shared. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to engage with such a beautiful tradition." Shah channeled his appreciation into his work, boldly writing "I love you, China" in elegant calligraphy, a heartfelt expression of cultural admiration.
