Key developments include a significant shift in urban planning, with Lixia advancing its ''one axis, three districts, multiple parks'' strategy. The vitalization of the Mingfucheng area has garnered attention, setting an example for urban renewal in Shandong. Major projects, such as the Central Business District (CBD), have led to the construction of iconic skyscrapers, including the headquarters of several global Fortune 500 companies.

Lixia's focus on attracting investment has been highly successful, with 48 projects receiving more than 100 million yuan in investment. The district is also placing a strong emphasis on technology-driven industries, as seen in the development of the Lixia Economic Development Zone and initiatives related to AI, digital transformation, and high-tech manufacturing.

Looking ahead to 2025, Lixia's growth projections remain ambitious, with targets including a GDP growth rate of 5.6 percent, a three percent increase in public revenue, and significant investments in technology and infrastructure. Lixia aims to continue its reputation as an economic powerhouse and a hub for innovation, talent, and global business in Shandong.

Through ongoing reforms, investment, and urban renewal, Lixia is poised to lead in economic, cultural, and environmental development, contributing to Shandong's pursuit of high-quality growth. (Edited by Li Qiaoxingzi)
