The New Era Civilization Practice Center in Linqing, Shandong province, recently hosted a heartwarming Winter Solstice event titled ''Warm Winter Solstice, Caring Hearts''. Residents gathered to make dumplings, sharing warmth, fostering community bonds, and spreading kindness.

The center's staff prepared ingredients in advance, while volunteers worked together to wash, chop, and mix fillings before crafting the dumplings. Their teamwork resulted in steaming, fragrant plates of dumplings fresh from the pot. Participants gathered to enjoy their creations, filling the room with laughter and a festive atmosphere.

A variety of dumpling designs – some sturdy and hearty, others intricately crafted – reflected the love and care put into each one. Elderly attendees smiled brightly, adding to the warmth and joy of the occasion.

The event demonstrated the center's dedication to fostering a cheerful and caring community environment. By ensuring residents, especially seniors, felt the warmth of the season, the event made the Winter Solstice celebration truly memorable.

This year, the center has organized activities tied to events like ''Our Festivals'' and ''Leifeng Month'', alongside fitness, reading, and entertainment activities that attract over 200 daily participants.

The Winter Solstice event highlights the center's commitment to enriching the lives of Linqing residents through meaningful and inclusive initiatives. (Edited by Li Qiaoxingzi)
