Chinese painting and calligraphy fans are a treasured art, celebrated for their ability to convey vast landscapes and intricate scenes on a compact canvas. Through masterful brushwork, artists create sweeping vistas or scenes from daily life, capturing both grandeur and vitality with precision.

A notable subject often depicted is ''Hearing the Bell at the Pagoda Shore.'' inspired by the Eight Scenic Spots of Ancient Linqing. The name comes from a scene recalling the Sheli Pagoda within Yongshou Temple along the Wei Canal, and as ships entered the canal at dusk, temple bells would echo across the water.

Delicate and expressive, these fans offer glimpses into China's cultural heritage, transforming these small spaces into windows of timeless beauty. Its where art resonates with history, serenity, and life's quiet charm. (Edited by Li Qiaoxingzi)
