On Dec 11, officials inspected the Central Enterprise Headquarters Base in Lixia district's Yaojia sub-district. This one billion yuan (approximately $137 million) project occupies 15 mu (one hectare) and includes an 85,000-square-meter business complex with a 39-story office tower, three underground parking levels accommodating 767 vehicles, and facilities tailored to attract central and local state-owned enterprises.
Construction began in August 2021, and the project began operations in January 2024. Already, 12 major enterprises, including the Shandong branch of National Pension Insurance, Haier, and CITIC Pacific subsidiaries, have signed agreements to establish their regional headquarters in the facility.
The project is set to serve as a cornerstone of Lixia district's industrial transformation, promoting regional growth through attracting companies' headquarters. By integrating modern business infrastructure with sustainability goals, the Central Enterprise Headquarters Base exemplifies Jinan's strategic efforts to lead in green development and industrial innovation.
