Medtronic delegation explores traditional Chinese crafts in Dezhou

A group from Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, recently visited Lingcheng district, Dezhou, Shandong province. During their stay, the group went beyond exploring business opportunities and had the chance to engage with the region's deep cultural traditions.  

Lingcheng, known for its deeply rooted traditions, provided the perfect setting for the delegation to witness time-honored crafts that reflect the area's cultural richness. At a local gourd carving facility, the visitors took part in the traditional art of burning intricate designs onto gourds. This pyrography gave them insight into the precision, artistry, and cultural importance of this ancient craft.

The delegation's exploration continued with a tie-dye workshop, where a plain white silk scarf was transformed into a vibrant masterpiece. The visitors were fascinated by the creativity and colors that define this centuries-old craft.

In a tea-tasting room, the group was introduced to the refined world of Chinese tea culture. Through live demonstrations of brewing techniques, the elegance of traditional tea utensils, and the serene environment to enjoy it, the delegation discovered how tea-making embodies a profound cultural tradition with deep historical significance.
