Dong'e county in Liaocheng, Shandong province, has included decision-making matters with broad impact in the county government's annual major administrative decision-making directory, making them public through the government's website, thus enhancing the transparency of government decisions.
To allow the public to understand the entire process of government decision-making in one place, Dong'e county has launched an innovative special column detailing the entire process of major administrative decision-making, providing prompt updates on the progress of major administrative decision-making matters.
In response to feedback from the public, the county has made efforts to streamline feedback channels, publicly disclosing the results of solicitations and the adoption status in the solicitation section, effectively promoting scientifically sound government decision-making.
Dong'e has also established a column for handling suggestions and proposals, publicly announcing the handling of suggestions from deputies to the people's congresses and proposals from members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, thus improving work efficiency.
"At the CPPCC meeting held in our county at the beginning of this year, I proposed a suggestion regarding anti-slip measures for marble bricks on squares and public places during snowy weather. After checking online, I found that it has been adopted and resolved, which is very convenient," excitedly stated Li Ke, a CPPCC member of Dong'e county. (Edited by Li Weiwei)
