Dong'e county in Shandong's Liaocheng is actively exploring new emerging markets, and continuously nurturing new growth points, and promoting high-quality development in foreign trade.

This year, the county has arranged for key enterprises to participate in domestic and international exhibitions and cross-border e-commerce training, while also increasing guidance and support for them. Key enterprises such as Dong'e Blue Sky and Seven Color Building Materials, and Dong'e Ejiao have seen year-on-year export growth rates of 56.6 percent and 401 percent, respectively.

Additionally, Dong'e is vigorously expanding its presence in overseas markets, accelerating the establishment of overseas smart factories for Blue Sky and Seven Color Building Materials in Indonesia, and facilitating the import trade of donkey hides.

"Through refined management, we have reduced costs. We have also invited well-known local design institutes and designers to visit our company for discussions, further enhancing customer loyalty. By August, our exports had increased by 60 percent year-on-year," said Yan Changyong, general manager of Blue Sky and Seven Color Building Materials. The company's aluminum sheet products have been exported to over 40 countries and regions including Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Middle East.

From January to July of this year, Dong'e added eight new foreign trade enterprises, achieving a total import and export volume of 675 million yuan ($93.14 million), a year-on-year increase of 14.1 percent. (Edited by Li Weiwei)
