A ceremony was recently held at Weihai Vocational College to launch a new community focused on integrating education and industry for the vocational uniform makers.
As a key part of China's manufacturing, the vocational uniforms sector has experienced robust growth and a significant expansion in scale in recent years.
The new community aims to bring together enterprises, universities, and vocational colleges from across the country to create a collaborative platform for partnering, innovation, and development. By exploring new pathways and models for education-industry integration for vocational uniforms, the community seeks to drive technological innovation, talent cultivation, and industrial upgrading.
Currently, the community boasts over 100 member units from 16 provinces across China, encompassing upstream and downstream enterprises, universities, vocational colleges, and research institutions.
Going forward, the community will focus on the effectiveness of operations and meeting demand in education and industry. It will also jointly undertake talent cultivation, research and development of key common technologies, and the collaborative development of teaching resources among enterprises and universities.
Through these efforts, the community will achieve deep integration of industry, education, and scientific research, thereby promoting the convergence of industry, education, innovation, and talent. (Edited by Yang Yingxue)
