Caoxian county in East China's Shandong province has embraced a wave of digitalization, resulting in significant breakthroughs in key industries and robust economic growth.

Upgrading automated equipment at Caoxian Zhantu Wooden Product Co Ltd has delivered impressive results. Its hardware systems are fully operational, and the development of its 5G Internet of Things system is well underway. Once completed, the project is expected to reduce production costs by 30 percent while more than doubling production efficiency.

Heze Jinqi Technology Co Ltd participated in the development of an integrated production and sales management system. This innovation has improved order processing efficiency sevenfold, thus saving over 4 million yuan ($551,861) annually and significantly enhancing overall operational performance.

Baibeikang Foods has also made strides in digitalization, constructing the largest 10,000-ton intelligent cold storage facility in the Heze region. The 10,000-square-meter facility requires only one operator to manage goods and is twice as efficient as relying on manual methods.

The success of these digital transformation efforts has not only strengthened the competitiveness and economic performance of individual enterprises but has also contributed to Caoxian county's economic growth.

Moving forward, the county will continue to drive digital transformation across enterprises. By building on its achievements, deepening reforms, and fostering innovation, it aims to further enhance digital and intelligent capabilities. The move will consolidate new drivers of productivity and contribute to the high-quality development of its economy. (Edited by Zhang Ying)
