Dezhou hosts Sino-South Korean art exchange

On Nov 16, the third Sino-South Korean calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition was held at Guangyuan Art Museum in Pingyuan county, Dezhou, Shandong province.
The exhibition brought together 40 renowned artists from both China and South Korea, including 15 Chinese artists and 25 South Korean calligraphers and painters. The showcased works encompassed a wide range of traditional Chinese and South Korean art forms, such as landscape paintings, flower-and-bird paintings, figure paintings, and calligraphy. All participating artists are leading figures in the art scenes of both countries, and their works not only demonstrate the traditional art styles of China and South Korea but also integrate modern elements and innovative thinking.
This exhibition serves as both a large-scale art event and a bridge for cultural exchange and friendship between China and South Korea, showcasing the profound heritage and unique charm of calligraphy and painting in both countries.
The exhibition provides a platform for artists from both countries to learn from each other and exchange ideas, further promoting the prosperity and development of Sino-South Korean calligraphy and painting art.
At the same time, it offers a cultural feast for visitors, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of Chinese and South Korean calligraphy and painting art.
Following the opening ceremony, the artists visited renowned sites like Zhangguandian village and Pingyuan Debai Stone Museum as part of a joint field trip and cultural exchange activity. (Edited by Yang Yingxue)
