Laiwu district in Jinan, Shandong province, has implemented several policies and established a leadership group to systematically promote the cultural tourism industry in recent years.

The district has already introduced eco-tourism, red tourism, handicraft tourism, and unique culinary tourism routes, striving to create a collection of cultural and tourism gems.

"We have developed a block blending entertainment, art and leisure, and we're encouraging local attractions to offer discounts as well as organizing a series of sports events," said Wang Chao, secretary of the Xueye sub-district Party working committee.

"To date, our scenic spots have welcomed over 600,000 visitors," he added.

Educational tours are on the rise in Mayaowan village, Laiwu district. Visitors have the chance to explore the ancient village, attend local markets, and climb the Qi Great Wall, providing an enriching experience.

"We have collaborated with Tsinghua University to establish a social practice base. During the summer break, our village became the top choice among numerous educational groups, injecting new vitality into the village's development," shared Zhong Weiqing, Party secretary of Mayaowan village.
