Shandong's Juye promotes traditional culture through innovation

This is just one rave review upon the release of fine brushwork ceramics by Huang Entao, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Association and the chief art consultant of Juye County Calligraphy and Painting Academy. These products are attracting the attention of numerous calligraphy and painting enthusiasts.

The fine brushwork ceramic artworks, using handmade ceramic products as carriers, combine Juye's unique qilin (a mythical creature representing good fortune and safety) elements and fine brushwork intangible cultural heritage with the elegant and auspicious elements of Heze peonies and enamel glaze painting techniques, bringing new vitality to the porcelain.

In recent years, Juye county in Heze city, Shandong province, has explored its regional characteristics, and integrated the richness and elegance of peonies with the auspiciousness of qilin.
