Laiwu district in Jinan city, Shandong province boasts a rich history from the communist revolution. In recent years, the district's Chayekou town has extensively explored the local red culture, developing revolutionary sites into tourist attractions. By organizing study tours, red tourism, and stage performances, a sense of patriotism and determination is instilled in the residents.
Chayekou town has established a national defense education base at the Wang Yang Platform revolutionary site and launched a promotional brand named "Tea Red", focusing on promoting selfless dedication, rural vitalization, and industrial development among Party members, the public, and local enterprises.
By fully leveraging red cultural resources, the town has hosted cultural and tourism events like the Cherry Festival, the Great Wall Opera Culture Festival, and the Meng Jiangnv Cultural Festival. These events demonstrate the people's expectations for a better life and stimulate the cultural dynamism of the rural areas.
Furthermore, Chayekou town has organized activities such as media coverage and photography contests to promote local red tourism projects, embedding red culture in the hearts of the public in an educational and entertaining way. (Edited by Li Weiwei)
