Shandong district enhances efficiency of government services

To further enhance the ease of starting a business, Kuiwen district, Weifang, Shandong province is continuously deepening the "one-stop" reform for enterprises.

Since 2023, the district has successively upgraded and introduced 51 themed, integrated services under the "one-stop, one-time processing" principle. These services bundle important matters throughout the entire lifecycle of both businesses and individuals, enabling them to apply once and handle all procedures either online or in-person in a single go, with results delivered at once.

Moreover, the "one license, multiple addresses" policy introduced by Kuiwen district has shattered the previous regional limitations and data barriers that confined business licenses to processing within the same county, city, or district. This innovative measure breaks away from the traditional approval model, reducing the geographic distance for businesses needing to handle matters across regions and achieving real reductions in paperwork, travel, and costs.

To facilitate in-person processing, Kuiwen's government service center has established three special, comprehensive windows where service units for business matters are collectively stationed in the hall, publishing a list of matters and outlining the processing procedures.

Addressing the issue of businesses being unfamiliar with the process during their initial online handling of high-frequency matters, Kuiwen combines online and in-person services, allowing both individuals and businesses to submit online business applications, with specialized staff providing assistance and guidance.
