Int'l students discover Lingcheng's cultural heritage, green innovation

A group of international students from Dezhou University recently participated in a cultural exchange trip to Lingcheng district, Dezhou, and immersed themselves in the area's rich heritage and natural beauty through visits to key landmarks and interactive experiences.

Their tour began at Daxuezhuang scenic area, where students admired the elegance of Suzhou-style architecture. The intricate designs and balanced layouts captivated the students with a unique view of China's cultural landscape and aesthetics.

The group's journey then took them to Xianren Lake, where they observed the district's floating photovoltaic panels. It was an impressive example of the region's commitment to sustainable energy and green development, which left a lasting impression on them.

In addition to sightseeing, they engaged in traditional games such as touhu, an ancient competition of tossing arrows into wine pitchers. This hands-on experience allowed the visitors to connect with Lingcheng's cultural roots and gain a deeper appreciation for regional customs.

The trip provided these international students with a meaningful perspective on Lingcheng's character and highlighted the value of cultural exchanges as a way to bring the world together.
