Shandong's Binzhou zone advances service capacities at grassroots level
Recently, the Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Binzhou, Shandong province, issued new measures on the establishment of grassroots Party organizations and improve institutional mechanisms.
The zone has selected a number of part-time committee members, who were appointed to participate in discussions on major issues such as community Party recruiting, public security, and urban management.
Out of the 23 urban communities in the zone, 22 have completed the appointment of part-time committee members. For example, in communities like Shidai, Yujing, and Zhonghai in Dudian sub-district, Party members from institutions have been appointed as part-time committee members to contribute to community development.
Through part-time committee members, in-service Party members and social forces are mobilized to participate in volunteering, which encourages Party members to be a part of community service and to contribute more. Regular volunteer service activities are also carried out. Through practical steps, service quality and efficiency are improved to meet the needs and expectations of the masses.
