National Enterprise Management Innovation Exchange held in Weifang
The China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association hosted an event in Weifang on Oct 25 to promote Shandong Haihua Group's innovations in target management, in order to improve management practices in the petroleum and chemical industries, and to foster high-quality development in traditional industries.
The event gathered leaders and officials from Weifang and Binhai district. Sun Lingbo, chairman of Shandong Haihua Group, shared the group's strategy to become a globally influential marine chemical hub by advancing salt chemicals, petrochemicals, new energy, and advanced materials, adapting traditional industries to new growth opportunities.

Haihua Group is improving itself through target management and digital transformation, and has become a leader in salt chemicals. Its management model won first prize at the 30th National Enterprise Management Innovations, and the company's performance has reached new highs since adopting it.
In 2022, Haihua reported about 2.23 billion yuan ($313.29 million) in profit and tax contributions, with cumulative cost savings of 300 million yuan, further strengthening its industry position.
Co-hosted by industry associations and organized by Shandong Haihua Group, the event attracted over 200 representatives from across commerce, academia, and the media , who toured the company's central control room, and advanced nano-filtration workshop. (Edited by Lin Li)
