Simplicity makes weddings happier

A distinct collective wedding was held recently in Wucheng county of Dezhou, Shandong province, which is a novel approach for the modern era. 

Instead of having individual weddings, 10 couples partook in traditional Song marriage customs while adorned in a style of clothing from the Song Dynasty (960–1279), which gave a sense of solemnity and elegance. 

Such collective weddings promote Wucheng's progressive values by advocating for simplified yet refined ceremonies. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
