Shandong entices young talents with fun activities
To attract and retain talent for entrepreneurship, Kuiwen district of Weifang, Shandong province is organizing fun activities and providing a high-quality living environment.
On Sept 28, the 3rd Kuiwen youth talent cultural festival kicked off, attracting nearly 2,000 young talents from all over Weifang city. The music festival featured renowned local singers and trendy bands, blending musical styles such as traditional, pop, and rock, eliciting bursts of enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.

"The live performance was very exciting. I hope more cultural activities that young people enjoy can be held right here at home," said a young audience member at the event.
Kuiwen is committed to creating a trendy urban atmosphere, establishing the city's first livehouse and hosting the youth talent cultural festival for three consecutive years.
Furthermore, Kuiwen is vigorously developing its nighttime economy and first-store economy. Achievements to date include 20 fashionable stores; 130 leisure venues such as bars, cafes, and music restaurants; five high-level sporting events; and 10 popular routes for night running and cycling.
