Community rejuvenation ignites low-level governance vitality
Jindu community in the Kuiwen district of Weifang, Shandong province, has meshed low-level governance with a continuous vitality by developing community social enterprises, establishing a community charity micro-fund, and integrating resources.
The community has organized retired community workers and property managers into a community organization, offering residents nine types of services such as home appliance cleaning and repairs, plumbing, and house and parking space management. Additionally, the community is helping to rejuvenate older residential areas by founding a community service limited company covering property services, household convenience services, and public space comprehensive operation and management.

Jindu community has also used the charity federation for public fundraising to institute a community charity micro-fund with transparent records on its sources and uses. Moreover, a portion of the annual profits from social enterprises of the community is contributed to the charity micro-fund, enhancing the community's rejuvenation capacity and maximizing the sharing of various resources.
Furthermore, Jindu community has reviewed and planned its idle assets for comprehensive development and utilization. For instance, the community has repurposed these assets to establish a community activity center, a senior daycare center, and a public canteen, as well as introducing independent entrepreneurial projects for residents in the area.
