Construction workers receive meals in Shandong
To further enhance dining safety for construction workers, Kuiwen district in Weifang, Shandong province has launched a pilot program to provide meals to these workers.
To date, six projects have implemented the meal distribution pilot program, benefiting over 6,000 construction workers.
To ensure the smooth progress of the pilot program, Kuiwen district conducted thorough preliminary research. A research team visited more than 10 projects and enterprises, held nine discussion sessions, and gathered over 30 suggestions. After four specialized meetings and careful planning, the catering companies were selected.

During the meal distribution process, Kuiwen strictly controls food quality. Relevant departments have established a special task force to guide six projects in conducting routine meal distribution activities. They have conducted over 50 safety inspections on meal quality to ensure that food safety standards are not compromised.
Furthermore, Kuiwen district continues to refine its feedback mechanism. To date, over 40 suggestions have been collected. Based on workers' feedback, the meal distribution mechanism has been optimized with the addition of 12 new meal varieties and unlimited soup supply.
The successful implementation of the pilot program providing meals for construction workers in Kuiwen district not only enhances the dining experience for workers but also sets a benchmark for ensuring dining safety at construction sites. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
