Montenegro city seeks stronger ties with Dezhou district

In a move to strengthen international ties, Samir Agović, the mayor of Montenegro's Petnjica Municipality, visited Lingcheng district in Dezhou on Oct 17. During the visit, the two signed a letter of intent aimed at fostering economic and cultural cooperation.

Agović led a delegation that toured the Lubei big data center – Lingcheng's key technological hub – to learn about the district's strides in high-tech infrastructure and innovation.

Expressing admiration for Lingcheng's economic and social progress, Agović pointed out the importance of continual communication and future collaborations for the mutual prosperity of Petnjica and Lingcheng.

"This visit marks a significant step in enhancing cooperation between our two regions," Agović said during the signing ceremony. "Lingcheng's advancements in technology are impressive, and Petnjica, with its wealth of mineral and agricultural resources, is eager to welcome investment and exchange opportunities."

The visit is seen as a major diplomatic push by both sides to strengthen ties and unlock new avenues for shared prosperity. (Edited by Hu Kaili)
