Shandong district hosts public welfare photography event for elderly

Dongzhuang community in Dayu subdistrict, Kuiwen district, Weifang, Shandong, in collaboration with a number of social welfare organizations, held a heartwarming public photography event to care for elderly couples in the community.

The atmosphere at the event was festive and cozy. The elderly couples, meticulously dressed up by staff, transformed into beautiful brides and handsome grooms, seemingly transcending time and returning to their youthful days when they first met each other.

Despite the marks of time etched on their faces, their eyes still gleamed with warmth, brimming with deep affection for each other.

This event not only allowed the elderly couples to relive the beautiful moments of their youth but also allowed them to feel the care and warmth of the community.

"The event happened to fall on the 50th anniversary of our marriage, and the community showed great thoughtfulness for the elderly," said one resident who participated in the event.

Through this event, Dongzhuang community not only provided community residents with an opportunity to reminisce about their golden years but also captured their heartwarming moments in the stills of light and shadow. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
