The Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park in Shandong province made the 2024 National CPMS Pilot Counties list, which was recently released by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The CPMS is a standard specification that provides a unified description of the attributes, characteristics, and information related to terminal products across various sectors of the national economy. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on launching CPMS pilot projects, designating Shandong as one of the pilot provinces.
The national CPMS county-level pilot project aims to promote the deep integration of digital technology and the real economy. It follows the guidelines outlined in key documents such as the Digital China Construction Overall Layout Plan to develop a product master data standard ecosystem and create more industry-leading achievements.
In the near future, the Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park will carry out CPMS training and activities to enhance understanding and awareness of CPMS among all participating entities, striving to foster a positive atmosphere for the implementation of CPMS pilot projects to support industrial development. Additionally, it will fully leverage its role as a national CPMS pilot area to explore replicable and scalable working models and best practices for broader dissemination. (Edited by Yang Yingxue)
