Huimin: Precision services boost textile industry efficiency

Rongfeng Textile Co in Zijiao town, Huimin county, Binzhou, Shandong transforms polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) water-soluble fibers into yarn in its smart production workshop. The company primarily exports this yarn to India and Pakistan, with orders booked through November.

The textile industry is a cornerstone of Zijiao town, which is home to several key players, including Jiayue Textile. To enhance the textile sector's development, the town launched a one-stop service window at its convenience center, which streamlines paperwork and approvals for businesses. 

An integrated support system managed by the town's economic committee has combined online and offline services. Officials engage with local companies to tackle challenges and have streamlined 26 administrative services related to market access and production licensing.

The town recently rvitalized about 22.3 hectares of idle land and initiated an 80 million yuan ($11.23 million) renovation of Rongfeng Textile, targeting an annual output of 80,000 spindles. These efforts are driving the growth and specialization of the local textile industry. (Edited by Lin Li)
