Anti-fraud efforts safeguard resident's wealth in Shandong's Chengwu

State Grid Chengwu Power Supply Company is organizing a volunteer service team to assist senior citizens through intelligent technology. Such actions are part of traditional Chinese virtues of filial piety and respect for the elders and also create an atmosphere of kindness within the community.

During the event, volunteers informed older residents of Dongguan community in Chengwu county about how to avoid frauds. Using down-to-earth language, they explained various fraud cases, fraud facts, and daily precautions to help them better understand how to protect their financial assets.

In a smartphone app class, volunteers helped the elderly become more tech savvy through in-person teaching and hands-on guidance.
