To further enhance urban gas safety measures, departments in Kuiwen district of Weifang, Shandong province collaborated closely to complete the gas-to-electricity conversion project at the Huxi convenience stall cluster.
The Huxi shopping stall cluster in Kuiwen is characterized by a dense concentration of food carts that predominantly use bottled gas. This not only poses fire hazards but also results in significant grease and smoke, impacting the cleanliness of the market's environment. To address these challenges, Kuiwen district coordinated efforts among departments and formed a specialized task force for the gas-to-electricity conversion project at the Huxi convenience stall cluster.
The task force promptly assessed the current power supply of the stalls and their surroundings, and then made a wiring plan for the site. Subsequently, the task force's follow-up visits provided technical guidance and inspections for smooth and orderly installation. The team completed the power supply work within a short timeframe.
This gas-to-electricity initiative not only phased bottled gas out of the market but also provided merchants with a stable, reliable, and environmentally friendly energy supply. It boosted the efficiency of cooking methods for stall vendors, reduced energy costs, improved overall profitability, and garnered unanimous praise from customers. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
