Shandong county drives innovation among enterprises

Shandong Meixin Glass Technology Co Ltd, located in Linqu, Shandong province, has employed intelligent manufacturing technology into its hollow glass production processes, garnering widespread acclaim within the construction sector and attracting a multitude of hollow glass orders.

The company's hollow glass project reportedly boasts a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($142.41 million), allocated for the acquisition of fully automated unmanned intelligent production lines, TPS hollow glass machines and other production equipment, thereby establishing an intelligent and digitized processing model.

Upon the project's launch, the company had achieved a remarkable annual production output of 8.06 million square meters of hollow glass.

Linqu county has been steadfast in driving industrial development, particularly in sectors like intelligent manufacturing technology, to propel high-quality growth. The county has introduced 30 enterprise-supportive policies across five dimensions, encompassing industry advancement, technological research and development, and innovation.

To date, the county has established over 318 innovation platforms at or above the municipal level and nurtured 167 high-tech enterprises. Looking ahead, the county will continue to incentivize enterprises to boost investment in research and development and foster top-tier innovation platforms. (Edited by Fu Qi)
