Summer economy in Shandong gains momentum

Kuiwen district in Weifang, Shandong, has seen a surge in summer tourism, indoor entertainment, and other leisure activities, injecting new vitality into the summer economy.

As a popular tourist destination on the outskirts of Kuiwen, Weifang Jinbao Amusement Park has experienced a boom in popularity. Combining rides with natural landscapes, the park offers visitors a rich and diverse experience. Additionally, the park has introduced a variety of activities, including parent-child activities, nighttime light shows, and a parent-child water play area, greatly enhancing the overall visitor experience.

"Our family loves coming here, especially during the summer vacation when there are more activities on offer. The children always have a great time," said a local resident.

The summer film industry in Kuiwen is also growing in popularity among residents. Major cinemas have attracted large audiences by showcasing multiple popular films and providing diverse viewing experiences.

To cater to summer demand, Kuiwen is also showing strong growth momentum in the entertainment, dining, cooling appliance and other consumer sectors.
