The implementation of a preventive maintenance digital control system last year has led to a substantial increase in production efficiency at Shandong Hengxin High-Tech in Ningyang, Tai'an, Shandong province.

As a prominent player in the coal-based fine chemical industry, the company manufactures nearly 4,000 pieces of equipment annually, with its annual investment in equipment inspection and maintenance exceeding 30 million yuan ($4.27 million).

"The power supply company has established an industrial-grade data center for us, facilitating equipment lifecycle management, safety production control, and other data applications, leading to a boost in the overall operational efficiency of small and medium-sized enterprises and gradually realizing digital transformation and upgrading," said Zhang Yiliang, director of planning at Hengxin High-Tech.

Through the utilization of information technology, the company has reduced its annual maintenance tasks by 35 percent, saving over 8.7 million yuan in maintenance costs while achieving a significant increase in production efficiency.

In its ongoing efforts, Hengxin High-Tech has been effectively modernizing its industrial information management system.
