At the beginning of the school year, the People's Court of Chengwu County in Heze, Shandong province, brought court hearings to campus by conducting an open trial of a case involving aiding and abetting cybercrime activities through a circuit court trial. This provided a vivid legal lesson to more than 3,000 teachers and students.
After the trial, the judge's assistant delivered a legal education course focusing on common situations in which young students are deceived in daily life and online, as well as typical cases of aiding and abetting crimes. Through concrete examples and on-site legal education, the attending teachers and students were able to experience the power of the law.
The legal education activity, as a special lesson to open the school year, presented students with a unique learning opportunity. In recent years, the People's Court of Chengwu County has been actively fulfilling its duties, continuously innovating and optimizing the form of legal education in schools, and comprehensively carrying out various public legal education activities. This has allowed the rule of law to take root and grow in the hearts of young people. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
