Cultural exchange event between China and Ukraine nurtures lasting friendships

To celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, Wucheng county of Dezhou city, Shandong province hosted a cultural exchange with Dragomanov Ukrainian State University. Over 20 students from Ukraine gathered to watch a video about Wucheng and learn about the history and symbolism of the Mid-Autumn Festival and mooncakes. Then they tasted some mooncakes themselves while sharing their holiday traditions.

The event also featured Chinese gifts and making paper cutouts. The students were impressed by these exquisite Chinese gifts and expressed their desire to share them with their families and friends back home. Later, all the students sang Chinese and Ukrainian songs together, expressing warm wishes for the friendship between the two countries and future cooperation. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
