Weifang grapes garner industry growth bonanza
Feng Enhai, a grape farmer with 37 years of experience in Wangshe village, Linqu county, Weifang, has seen his vines reach the ripening stage, marking a successful grape season. Cultivating on 1 hectare of land, Feng's varieties include Kyoho and Sunshine Rose, earning him over 300,000 yuan ($42,308.45) annually.
In 2010, Feng established the Linqu County Grape Professional Cooperative Society, consolidating small farmers and providing them with unified services from planting to sales, ensuring quality and yield, and enhancing the farmers' benefits.

Linqu county has been proactive in developing the e-commerce sector, establishing 14 e-commerce service stations and 100 village-level service sites. With synchronized logistics and cold chain support, the county has embraced online live streaming to sell agricultural products, ensuring quick sales of the produce.
The county has also leveraged the development of e-commerce to connect with platforms like JD.com, a leading technology and service provider known for its supply chain innovation.
