Hedong comes alive with summer cultural festivals

From Aug 1 to 20, Beijing Road Park in Linyi's Hedong district was alive with music, beer, sports, and summer fun thanks to the 8th Hedong District Square Cultural and Arts Festival, which was aimed at enhancing the city's nighttime vibrancy and offering residents a lively and engaging experience.

In an effort to boost nighttime consumption and urban vitality, the district also organized a series of activities at major scenic spots designed to provide an escape from the summer heat, draw large crowds, stimulate consumption, and brighten the nights across the district.

The square arts festival, a key part of this summer event series, lasted for 20 days, showcasing performances by 20 local folk art troupes, along with a Beer and Trendy Play Festival, among other offerings. (Edited by Lin Li)
