To offer residents and tourists more convenient and enjoyable travel options, the city of Weihai has recently launched a scenic bus route connecting several popular tourist destinations.
The new route, known as the "Mountain and Sea Sightseeing Line", starts at the south entrance of Torch 8th Street and passes through various bus stops before reaching the "Blueways" (a stranded cargo ship near Rongcheng, Weihai) and Naxianghai Scenic Area. The entire round trip is approximately 115 kilometers.
The route includes special stops at both the "Blueways" and Naxianghai for sightseeing, with a one-hour stay at the former and a 1.5-hour stay at the latter. Passengers can also choose to get off at any of the bus stops on the return journey.
To enhance the travel experience, the bus is equipped with tour guides who will provide passengers with insightful commentary on the history, culture, and unique features of the various attractions in Weihai.
The double-decker sightseeing bus boasts a striking red design, incorporating elements representative of Weihai, such as the ocean, sunrise, whales, and beaches. With a height of 4.2 meters and a skylight, passengers can enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding scenery. The wide, high-backed seats offer a comfortable seating experience. The bus is also powered by a clean and efficient electric drive system.
To ensure a smooth journey, reservations are required one day in advance. (Edited by Yang Yingxue)
