County in Shandong fights against heat to ensure smooth production
During the hot summer months, production enterprises and construction sites in Caoxian county, East China's Shandong province, have implemented various cooling measures to ensure workers' health while maintaining stable and orderly operations.
At ZODO Tire Co Ltd, air conditioners have been installed in all appropriate workshops, maintaining indoor temperatures at approximately 28 degrees Celsius. In workshops where installation is not feasible, the logistics team supplies ice and popsicles to ensure workers remain cool.

The company distributes over 300 blocks of ice and 2,000 ice creams daily, provides a continuous supply of various heat prevention medicines, and offers regular heat safety training. These measures ensure worker safety and uninterrupted production during the scorching summer, balancing both safety and productivity.
To mitigate the effects of high temperatures, the construction project in Caoxian county has adjusted its work schedule, implementing staggered hours and suspending high-altitude work from 11:00 to 15:00. Additionally, the site has adopted various heat prevention measures, including providing workers with ample cooling supplies such as drinking water, mung bean soup, and watermelon.
