As a technology company integrating high-end hardware production for smart agriculture and the development of agricultural IoT systems and big data cloud platforms, Zhonghe Intelligence Technology Co Ltd, based in the Wehai Torch Hi-tech Science Park in Weihai, East China's Shandong province, is making efforts to use artificial intelligence technology to foster smart agriculture.

In the company's showroom, various magic agricultural devices are showcased: intelligent pest detection and reporting lights, intelligent spore capture analyzers, soil moisture monitoring stations, smart gate systems, intelligent greenhouse control systems, and smart weather stations. Every agriculture-related device exudes a strong "technological vibe".

"We also have a smart agricultural cloud service platform, where users can remotely control devices, view real-time monitoring data, and help farmers better monitor crop growth," said Zhao Xiaolong, the company's technological director.

The company's products are categorized into three types – monitoring, control, and identification, with the flagship product being the intelligent pest detection and reporting light. Due to varying soil and climate conditions across regions, specific instances of crop pests and diseases differ. Zhao's team developed the intelligent pest detection and reporting light after keenly observing these challenges.

Zhonghe also offers smart weather stations and soil monitoring equipment. Its smart weather stations primarily monitor crop growth conditions like temperature, humidity, and light intensity, providing data support for remotely adjusting indoor environments intelligently.

This year, Zhonghe's output value is expected to reach 4.5 million yuan ($629,888).

Zhao said that a dynamic and creative group of young professionals enables the company to rapidly customize products for customers, a key factor that sets Zhonghe ahead of its industry peers. (Edited by Yang Yingxue)
