Shandong district cultivates vibrant environment for young talents
To ensure young people can develop in an environment characterized by inclusivity and dynamism, Kuiwen district in Weifang, Shandong province is hosting events such as youth talent salons, fostering interaction and dialogue among young people.
By increasing Weifang's attractiveness to young people, Kuiwen district endeavors to cultivate a stronger sense of belonging and contentment among these individuals. The district extends invitations to 24 young high-caliber talents to participate in pivotal district-level conferences, leads the province in encompassing emerging employment cohorts like food delivery couriers and ride-hailing drivers within the talent support framework, and annually highlights 20 young talents in areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, and technical skills. Through the implementation of these commendable initiatives, Kuiwen district consistently elevates engagement and cohesion among young talents.

Moreover, Kuiwen has enlisted Wang Lanqin, a distinguished young talent hailing from Kuiwen and the top pick in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) draft, as a promotional ambassador. Leveraging popular social media platforms like Douyin, the district has unveiled 60 brief promotional videos for city branding, amassing 246,000 likes and garnering over 1.6 million views.
