Summer cool-down initiative in full swing in Shandong
To further ensure the safety and health of workers during the hot summer weather, a summer cool-down campaign in Kuiwen district, Weifang, Shandong province, has officially launched.
During the campaign, the delegation from the Kuiwen federation of trade unions visited places like construction sites, courier and delivery stations, and trucking companies, distributed heat relief supplies, and offered their heartfelt greetings to those steadfastly working on the front lines during the scorching summer. They urged enterprises to diligently implement heat prevention measures, actively improve working conditions, and enhance labor protection measures to ensure the safety and well-being of front-line workers. The workers expressed their gratitude to the delegation for bringing relief during the hot weather, and they pledged to continue working with greater enthusiasm and energy, providing high-quality services to the public.

The summer cool-down campaign has long been a hallmark of the Kuiwen federation of trade unions, serving as an important means of showing care and concern for front-line workers. Moving forward, Kuiwen plans to expand the scope of the campaign, providing support to more front-line workers and contributing even more to the creation of a better Kuiwen. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
